Btw I tried to setup a quick UPnP config with dlna server on one pi and upnp renderer (OpenHome) on another pi and I could not get either Linn Kazoo or MConnect Lite to discover anything. I was able to Lumin to do it though. It instantly discovered the dlna server and moode upon renderer but its UI is ... challenging.

Have you tried upplay on your linux laptop?

It's MacOS and iPhones on my end but it looks like there is a version of upplay for Mac. I'll give it a try next time.

On my iPad I use mconnectLite, which works only with UPnP-A/V service, and Lumin, which works only with OpenHome service.

On my Android phone, I prefer BubbleUPnP (my personal favorite), which can work with either; similarly with Upplay on my Linux laptop.

I don't use UPnP services in my everyday listening. I use these control points mostly to test moOde developments. Even for Tidal and Qobuz, where several of these control points can be used as both the control point and proxy media server for the Internet sources, I prefer to use their native apps and alternative protocols.

There's other control points out there, but I didn't find any compelling reason to try any.

Kent

Updated to 9.2.2
The window opens when selecting audio info.
The playback info is there but the track info stays empty

Hi @Tim Curtis

It audio info now works as it did previously. Thanks for the fix.

NOTE: No track info only playback info for Qobuz. Audio info as usual but both Track and Playback for local "NAS" storage.

Regards,

Simon.

I think there should be track info for Qubuz based on previous posts in this thread.

Try below. You can get the URL by looking at Audio info Playback tab.

telnet localhost 6600
lsinfo "THE_URL"

No information was returned so maybe its not possible for MPD to retrieve the tags via lsinfo from these remote tracks.
Code:
lsinfo http://192.168.2.14:49149/qobuz/track/version/1/trackId/125574262
OK
