Coming here from the wonderful country of Lithuania. I'm a software developer, technology enthusiast and a Linux geek. Tech and IT is both my job and my main hobby.
Recently decided to do a side project to update my family bar/pub's (a tiny establishment, mainly for locals) old sound system based on an old Sony amplifier with a broken VFD from early 2000s.
It's new audio input source will now be a Raspberry Pi 4 based box with an official 7" touchscreen, running customized Pi OS Bookworm with Moode 9 installed. From the audio side, nothing fancy, just a Pi 4 box connected to an amplifier via a 3.5" jack.
I do believe I will have useful information to share and some questions to ask about this project, so again, my thanks for letting me on the forum.
