Moode goes to terminal upon first startup
#1
Hello, new user here. I set up a stand-alone streamer with a raspberry pi 4b, a power filter module, and an Audiophonics 9038 DAC all connected to a Raspberry Pi 7" official touchscreen.  I did set up my wifi but I am not near the wifi hotspot so I can't currently SSH into it.

My issue is that upon startup, it loads into a terminal screen that says "mo0de audio player - release 9.1.5 2024-11-26 © 2014 Tim Curtis" with a legal disclaimer. Seeing all this i'm pretty sure the OS flash was successful.

However i'm left with a terminal screen that says "MyName@ Jukebox:~ $" and I don't know how to get into the graphical OS from here. I've started to look around in the directories for a startup command but have been unsuccessful from here.

According to the startup guide posted on github I should have booted into Moode already. Help?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried it from a web browser using the address http://jukebox.local

Once connected, go to Peripheral menu and enable local display

The local display feature is not on by default.

Menu > Configure > Peripherals
Enjoy the Music!

I didn't think I *had* to go into the web browser first considering I had an attached display.  I don't have access to a network here (I'm at work at the moment) so I'll have to shut it down and wait til I get home. I did register my wifi network and the password during the initial OS flashing so hopefully that'll work.

Thanks for the assist!
