Google Chrome on Ubuntu 18.04 shows only a white screen for playback, music and radio after upgrade to Ver 4.4. The record cover and + and - for volume is displayed. The config screes display correctly though. Firefox works fine though. Does anyone have the same problem and perhaps a solution.

Sounds like you have stale files cached in your browser. 
Did you clear the browser cache?
