[PROBLEM] using WinSCP with moode image

I have been having a little play with WinSCP to have a look at the files in the moode image. I tried to write a text file to \root but got an error 3 permission denied but it worked ok in a folder I created. How can I get permission to write a file to \root?

I have set the following in the winSCP setting -> Advanced -> SCP/Shell -> Shell -> sudo su -
