[PROBLEM] Disappearing USB storage

Hi,
first of all I would like to thank for creating this fenomenal idea !

I've been using Moode for a while without any problems. Today I've decided to switch to latest version (very glad of room correction abilities). I've wrote a new Image of 7.1 version on SD card and boot it on RPi (3). Everything went smoothly and easy. I've maid general settings (DAC version, spotify connect etc) and decided to connect USB HDD disk I've been using without any errors on former version. While updating library I could see USB storage in library window but when process ended USB storage disappeared and MPD error was shown. After that I tried to figure out some kind of solution. I'm reading threads all the day. Trying many setting, reinstalling Moode etc. Nothing works - effect is still the same. 

I'm a total ignorant in terms of programmatic stuff. I hope You can help me anyway - I'm really excited about new version and I would like to use all of it's potential.

Also my version of Moode on a Pi-3B v1.2 could not find the music files on the USB stick at first.
The solution for me was the following;

By default, the USBmounter option is set to Udisks-glue (Default), which I set to Demon and saved it.
After a Restart, the USB-mounter option reverted to Udisk-glue and Save.
The USB could now be seen in the folder view and after a  Update library the music files could be accessed.

Are you using the 64bit kernel? If so, switch to the 32bit.

Hi,
thanks for your advise. I've tried it but unfortunately nothing changed. Same situation - while this circle informing about library update is turning, I can see USB storage, I can even go thru the folders and play songs until the MPD error pops up. From that moment I can't see USB anymore.

Yes, that was one of the first threads I've found about HDD problems. Checked and left the default 32bit kernel - problem remains.

I've reinstalled it few times. Writing to SD card using WIN32diskimager and Raspberry Pi Imager. Issue remains.
