From what little information I could find in an Internet search, it would appear that once the USB receiver which comes with this device is plugged into a computer (including an RPi running moOde) the remote will present as a USB keyboard and mouse. It could be used with moOde but seems redundant if one is accessing moOde's WebUI from a separate phone/tablet/computer.

I suppose if one were running moOde with a local display then this Viboton device could be useful, but I prefer using a touchscreen display such as the official Raspberry 7" touchscreen.

Buddy, since my RPI to connected via HDMI to my TV, I wanted to use this remote with Moode Audio Interface appearing on the TV. Will that be possible with this or I have to go with an IR remore

If the manufacturer states that it supports Raspberry Pi it will probably work similar to a typical wireless keyboard/mouse device. You would be able to enter text and perform mouse actions. As far as any special buttons on the device for example power, menu, home etc those would prolly need to be "programmed" to do what you want them to do but I have no idea how thats accomplished with this particular device.

You might want to search the Raspberry Pi Forums to see iff anyone else has experience with the device. In any case your best bet is to buy it from a retailer that offers unconditional returns just in case it doesn't work out.

Since when is the UI presented out of the HDMI controllable by keyboard / mouse / touch / whatever ?!?!?
Have I been on another dimension all this time...?

It's always been :-)
You will just need to turn on the mouse curser in the Local Display section of System Config.

As far as that other dimension goes, does the opening scene below look familiar ;-)

@Tim Curtis - Can you please suggest if there is a way to find out if a specific IR remote is suitable and can be programmed to operate Moode Audio like Play, Pause, Fwd, Rewind, Stop, Back, Home. I was planning to use this remote - https://store.mi.com/in/item/3194200002

And if there is any speicifc IR receiver that has to be used for Raspberry Pi for Moode Audio.

I am sorry these may be a bit weird questions/queries but as mentioned in my other posts I am learning with you guys and am totally new to this programming world which includes linux, desbian and all.

Please guide me

There are several relevant HowTos in the FAQ and Guides portion of this forum, both for IR-based remotes and for others. Somewhere there's even one I wrote concerning the use of the FLIRC USB-IR receiver, a device I quite like and which I've used with a number of different handheld controllers.

@Tim Curtis

The use of USB keyboards and mice has always worked for me with an HDMI-connected display but IIRC it's not so straightforward on a DSI-connected display such as the RPi Touchscreen. Don't have one fired up at the moment to revisit this.
