Library auto-update?

Library update can be scheduled from Clock Radio. It's one of the actions that can be performed after the stop time.

Also the Players >> feature provides the capability to send the Update library command to all discovered players.

Ooh, thats nice. Couple questions.

1. If all I want to do is a daily library update (in the middle of the night  ) can I put the same time in the start & stop fields, or should I leave, say, a minute or two between start & stop times?

2. Can I link a Players broadcast "Update Library" to the Clock Radio (as above)? Or do I set up each player in turn?

Currently the Players command feature is manual but tying it to Clock Radio could be interesting. I'll add to the TODO list to investigate.

In Clock Radio set the mode to Sleep Timer, set a stop time and then "Action after stop". Note that the start time is not relevant to Sleep Timer mode and thus cannot be set.

I like it! I’ll set something up for tonight, and give it a whirl 

In fact I could envisage a separate “Update” event on a timer just like those fine folks in Redmond do with their updates.
