I have found the new releases much faster and responsive so I'm wondering if it would make any difference if I were to "reset" the Pi back to a default and the reinstall the newest version? Would this make sense and if so, how would I do this?

I apologize for the question I'm about to ask that's sure roll some eyes.
I'd like to go back and try version 8.3.3 from last year. I believe my Bluetooth was working on that version.
So when I go to that section of the archives in GitHub, I see several links and 2 ISO Image labels the one I'd like to try is:
ISO image (64-bit) (Archived)
SHA-256 cecf9398df5133fa35a8035a8043209857482ab86db85600966f40563e5f1c5a
but it doesn't seem to have a link to the ISO image file to download.
So how do I actually get the ISO file to burn to the SD?
Also I assume I'll have to use Ubuntu or can I use the Raspberry Pi Imager once I find the ISO image?
I've played with all the links but can't seem to figure out how the repository system works.
Again, sorry for my ignorance here and thanks again for your help!

Images marked as Archived are a security risk because they contain known embedded userid's and passwords, and thus they are not available. This is for everyones benefit.
Just keep in mind that the project only has enough bandwidth to support the current release so you are more or less on your own with older releases.

Oh shoot. So I can't really go back to find an older version that worked for me? Wonder if there's any way to test the Bluetooth on my Pi to identify if the issue is hardware or software?
Am I the only one with this problem using the Bluetooth rendering? If not, hardware must be the issue if there's no reset. Right?

The output from moodeutl --hwparams that you provided earlier showed that a 16/44.1 PCM stream was being sent to your audio device, and you did say in your OP that radio stations play ok. That would suggest the device is ok.
Usually with "Bluetooth no sound" issue the problem is that the volume in the client app is 0 or too low.

If the client is a PC/Mac then there will be two volume controls: the System or OS volume and the App volume. Both have to be set.
