Problem: a album that isn’t there

an old album (from a very old lady) - which i deleted - then cleaned the caches - then regenerated the database - then cleaned the thumbnail cache - then regenerated thumbnails
will not disappear 

the albums are on a USB stick (exFAT) as the basic software is on another one 
collection was first on a ext4 stick with a 300mb speed

but this is what the mpdlog says:

and what to do about it?

For your album that won't disappear, try putting the USB into your computer and browse the file system from there looking fo hidden files or directories. There are several OSes that put hidden files that "look" like real audio files to mpd and some of those could be your culprit.
