Solved: Issue when modifying radio stations (streaming URL)
#1
I listen a lot to HD radio stations via moOde.

I put the ones I listen most in a playlist.

What I noticed, is when I change, for example, the streaming URL in the Radio station definition, it makes the playlist corrupt.
The modified entry looks different/odd in the playlist. Only way to fix it, is to remove the entry from the playlist, and add, via Radio Stations, the entry again to the playlist, and put it back in the right order/position.

I would have expected the entry in the playlist is just a reference to the actual resource definition, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Can this be fixed please?

Not really a fix because MPD playlists contain the playable URI which is a file path or station URL and cannot contain some sort of "resource reference" pointer.

If URI is changed then the old URI becomes invalid in any saved playlists or in the Queue. The only way I know of to avoid this would be to automatically search the Queue and all saved playlists at the time the URI was updated and change the old URI to the new one.

IIRC something like this was on the TODO list for a while and then it was dropped due to low priority and not enough dev bandwidth but if another dev wants to work on it I can help out a bit.
Enjoy the Music!
