Odd.
Are there any errors for those files or the cue sheet in the MPD log?
Try turning on verbose logging in MPD Config and then regenerate the music database.

@ jcucurull
moOde 9.0.4 on a Pi 5.
I downloaded your TestCUEAPE.zip file, added the files to my /mnt/SDCARD library, changed the CoverArt preferences (just Default+ seemed to suffice), and regen'ed the database.
I get essentially the same results as Tim did. No problem displaying the coverart in Folder, Tag, Album views nor in Playback and Audio Info views. ETA - the individual tracks show up as well where I expect them.

Kent

Very odd. It does correlate with the browser error in your earlier post that suggested no tracks were present in the libcache json file. This file is generated from the MPD database and is whats used to populate Tag/Album views.
Since neither myself nor Kent was able to repro the issue with the supplied test album I would try testing with just that album on a USB stick in your config. If you get same Browser error and no tracks it will be easier to troubleshoot.

Just a thought.
I forgot to mention that when I used 7z to uncompress the file you shared, I got wonky (for MPD) permissions on the 'Wish you were here' directory. They were
Code: drwx------ 2 one one 4096 Jul 12 07:11 'Wish you were here'
where one:one is my fake user:group. I changed this when I copied the directory and its contents to my SDCARD.
Of permissions, the MPD docs say
Quote:- Check your music_directory setting.
- Does the MPD user have read permission on all music files, and read+execute permission on all music directories (and all of their parent directories)?
Since my default user ('one') and the MPD user ('mpd') are different users but belong to the same 'audio' group, the above means the directory permissions for 'Wish...' at a minimum must be
aka 750.
I just replicated the overly generous directory permissions of '/mnt/SDCARD/Stereo Test'
aka 755.
From your last post there are a number of directories in the path to your tracks.
Code: USB/Storage/Musica/Masters/Biblioteca-FLAC/Varis Autors/Baraka/09_-_Broken_Vows_-_A_Prayer_of_Kala_Rupa_-_An_Daorach_Bheag.flac
Each directory must obey the permissions dictum.
I don't know for sure that this is the problem in your case but it's worth checking.

Kent

I will check if the permissions are different from the rest of the files, although it is strange since I synchronize everything from my Windows desktop to the harddrive in the RPi using Cygwin + Rsync over SSH. Also I will check from a USB stick.
Thanks!

I have checked the permissions and they are 755. Also, all the files have the same permissions, the APE+CUE, the FLACs, etc. Also, I have moved it to a USB stick and regenerated the DB and same result.

Don't forget ALL directories to be traversed MUST have the "x" flag set. In other words, all your bitmasks MUST look like ODD numbers, as R is 4, W is 2 and X is 1...
Failing to have that set will result in MPD being refused entering sub-directories.

Very odd.
Maybe the cue file contains some binary characters which are causing some sort of issue with MPD parsing the file. They won't show up in an editor unless it has a "Show invisible characters" option.
You could try the Linux "file" command. It will analyze the file and print a status that can indicate whether binary data was found in a text file.

I am mystified. The TestCUE.zip file I received contained perfectly well behaved .cue and .ape files as well a number of .jpg files. All passed muster and as I posted earlier, moOde had no problem once I corrected the directory permissions.
In particular
Code: xxxxx@T520:~/Downloads/TestCUEAPE$ file 'Wish you were here'/*
