Hi from Oslo, Norway

Hi,
I am a retired electronic engineer that have been working in the broadcasting and computing industry with hardware and software.
I have been looking at different MPD solutions to replace my Sonos ZP80 that was bricked by an software update.
I came across Jean-Francois Dockes site https://lesbonscomptes.com/pages/homenet-audio.html where he recommends Mood Audio.
I installed Mood Audio on one of my Raspberrys and got it working nicely from the start, with a few exceptions that I will address in other treads.
Now I going to look for an external DAC-addon that is supported by Mood.

Greetings to you all!

/Bjørn Roar.

Hi, Bjørn, and welcome.

Most any recent USB DAC should work out of the box with moOde, ranging from bare-bones boards to outrageously priced high-end boxes. If you have specific requirements you can always ask in this forum. You'll get back plenty of opinions!

Regards,
Kent
