I have brought one. It has a RPi CM4 as the base controller and as such, should be able to run Moode. I have read as much in the marketing literature. It should be able to run any of the Raspberry Pi music distros.

I will be trying this out at some point soon, just posting to ask if anyone has done this successfully?

I have a CM4 (an eMMC version) which I got some  years ago for a different project unrelated to moOde. Of course I had to try installing moOde to it anyway when it arrived. It worked like a charm. Caveat: that was pre-Bookworm RPiOS.

By all means, let us know how you get on. My expectation is that it'll work fine but we're here to help to the best we can if it doesn't.

Update.

Moode loaded on the Red without issue. It found the Amanero Combi USB device I am using, listed under output device. Everything seamed to be working really well.......

Then I installed Roon Bridge, now Roon Bridge is the only thing that works.

The logs look OK. I think I may have misinterpreted your issue.

When RoonBridge starts it hogs the audio output and moOde will display the "RoonBridge Active" screen. This is normal since no other player application can access or open the audio output while RoonBrdge is running.

I thought I had set the volume control to 0db, it was set to software, which is why I was getting no output.

So I now have Roon Bridge, Radio and library(nas) working.

Roon Bridge Active doesn't show when in use, though.

By the way, thanks for taking the time. It's much appreciated.

The OS that comes with Red, is very basic, Roon Bridge, Airplay, UpnP, Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect. All on 1 page via a Browser, with check boxes for the service you want to run.
