Messy for sure.

One solution is to implement a simple drill-down folder browser for example:

1) 1st scan lists folders under /mnt/UPNP
2) Select a folder
3) 2rd scan lists the sub-folders under folder
4) Repeat 2 and 3 until correct folder is found
5) SAVE

Something like that.
