Ability to run different library manager

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your intent here. It sounds like you are proposing to mush together two different code bases whose only common denominator is MPD. If you like O!MPD, why not just use O!MPD?

I like and have used both for years now, and OMPD is only an GUI library manager, where as moode packages the mpd on raspberry pi beautifully. So using both to work together seems the best of two worlds in my thinking.  The Library manager on moode is okay but is limited.
