Since I don't have the Allo product I didn't know what to expect. Now I see the Allo website claims a Gigabit Ethernet port...but also claims it's been "tested at 330Mbs". (Curious; makes it sound like it's an RPi3B+ with its USB2.0 controller limitation.)
You hasn't told us any details of your Ethernet LAN, saying just "connected to the same switch." What is this switch?
I also don't see anywhere a description of the hardware running the JRiver Media Center 25 software. What's this hardware? What's its Ethernet interface?
The devil is in the details.

Quote:Regarding software issues, one of the earlier posts showed the port speed of the Ethernet connection was 100Mb/s and not 1000Mb/s as I would have expected. http://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.p...3#pid15053 This could indicate some sort of compatibility issue between the Ethernet port on the SIG and your Switch, or some other network issue thats not showing up in the stats.
