[PROBLEM] Cannot set up USB hard drives

Looks like some of that might solve my problem as long as I can have it run for 60-80 hours uninterrupted (I've got nearly 500gb of files in there), but, truth be told, I don't really know what I'm looking at her. I'm far from a Linux user and when it comes to terminal stuff, I can just about follow a handholding walkthrough.

I really appreciate your help with all this so far. I'll see what I can figure out with regard to these tag fixers.
