If by mentioning 'speaker jack/speak jack' you a referring to the RaspberryPi's Headphone Out port this is designed to, well, drive headphones with the resulting downside if used for anything else... The Spotify sound volume is controlled by the Spotify Client app.
Make sense. So if I want to get better sound get a DAC?
I have tried to use HDMI out to my Sonos Arc Sound bar and no luck? I have changed both hdmi settings and rebooted
