The M100 has two usb ports, one for power and one for source input.
You are connecting the right USB port to your Pi aren't you?
Yes, I have.
But, it's certainly possible I could have damaged the input port by accidentally plugging in the power supply to it; if that is possible. So, now I wait for the new DAC and power supply.
You could try enabling 'USB UCA2 fix' to get a little extra power into your DAC.
I've got an SMSLÂ Sanskritt 10th II and had no issues at all get to g it to work on a Pi3.
Thank you. I have tried that USB fix. It helped me getting my USB hard drive recognized, but not the M100.
This journey has been a bit strange.
I've tried using an RPi3B+. When I use that I can pick between 32bit and the experimental 64bit build. I can specifically enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Whereas, on The RPi 4, I can only pick the 32bit build, not the 64bit one. BT/WiFi are not itemized in the same way as on the Pi3.
I do have the Topping D50 and the power supply for it. I'll rewrite the build and try installing from there.
