You could try examining various logs but the symptom "playback page does not work" suggests a broken build or something external to moOde software.
cat /var/log/mpd/log
cat /var/log/syslog
dmesg
cat /var/log/nginx/access.log
cat /var/log/php_errors.log
MPD verbose logging can be turned on by editing /etc/mpd.conf and changing log_level from "default" to "verbose".
moOde debug logging can also be turned on in System config screen.
cat /var/log/moode.log
