[SOLVED] allow local mpd modifications without overwriting them

You can add an output without patching the code, just by hijacking an existing one :-)

For example with the release of 7.0.0 I did this for an experimental camilladsp output. There I reused the "ALSA graphic eq" for the camilladsp device.
With the fifo output you probably want a parallel output, so if you ain't using the moode http stream port server I would hijacking this one.
It requires:

• in mpd.custom.conf overwrite the http server settings  (You can take experimental camilladsp setup for example).
  
• enabling the http server to enable the output
