I can repro (not all the time, maybe 3 times for 5 tentative) with this:
Hardware volume to 100
Connect my phone with bluetooth
disconnect bluetooth from my phone after few seconds (mpd is resume to yes, so music is playing after disconnect)
click once to lower the volume on the gui (or even with mpc vol -1), sometimes u have to click twice, or sometimes u have to increase the volume instead
sound is mute, title is still playling as i see it on the gui or with mpc output
If i pause and play again, then sound is back on, same if i next or if i change the volume.
With software volume i can't repro.
It doesnt make a lot of sens
I always thought it was related to this DAC, but maybe not, will try to test with other DAC next time.
In any case, it doesnt seems to be a problem related directly to moOde.
