So, I have a lot of classical box sets. Moode (4.2) seems to have its own sort logic for (dis)playing these. For a box set with 12 CDs (tagged with AlbumArtist) the track order will be like this:
1-01 > 10-01 > 11-01 > 12-01 > 2-01 > 3-01 >> through to 9-01
1-02 >> like above but with all track no. 2 on the CDs
1-03 >>
etc
If I try to list album (box set) content via ssh (ls), I get a different sort logic:
1-01 >> 1-(last track)
10-01 >> 10-(last track)
11-01 >>
12-01 >>
2-01 >>
>>>
9-01 >>
And oddly when using the Soundirok app they seem to be in part just randomly sorted:
8-01 > 5-01 > 12-01 > 4-01 > 6-01 > 7-01 > 2-01 >>
8-02 > 5-02 >> same order as above
etc
I used the site’s search function, but didn’t find a matching thread. Obviously the sort logic in all three cases screws up the original and intended CD/track order, and this more or less makes moOde unusable to me.
Am I missing something, or is this actually how moOde works? Or is it a MPD or Linux thing? The issue is present for all box sets I have. CDs were ripped, tagged and organized using iTunes. Files are on a USB HDD attached to Allo Digione Player (RPi 3b+).
