I just changed it back to 'none', restarted, powered it off, and re-seated the hifiberry dac2.

The reseat may have worked as the card now shows...

Now change back to your HiFiberry DAC in the Audio Config  SAVE and reboot....

I am experiencing the same issue with a HiFiBerry DAC+, on 7.1.0 2021-03-15, Platform (Pi-3B+ 1.3 1GB)
