FIXED, see post #8
hello, I have the Suptronics X6000 7.1ch board on a raspberry pi 4. this one here
It's an HDMI hat that gives me 8 ouputs, that I use with camilladsp as (up to) 4 ways active stereo crossover.
It works great, aside a little issue:
on boot it's muted.
No I don't mean muted on alsamixer, I can see it enabled and discovered. I mean it doesn't emit any sound.
I've found an unique routine to make it work:
I first have to hit play on moode, and then power cycle the board while moode is playing something. Then it'll emit sounds right after.
If I power cycle the board while moode isn't playing music, it doesn't work.
Don't know if it's related with camilla as it's always on. I will try it without it. EDIT: it happens even with camilladsp OFF.
The board is supposed to delay the power to the Pi, as it first boots itself, then (a few seconds later) it powers the Pi.
But I tried both ways (individually powering the board and the pi, joined only by the HDMI cable) and nothing changes, the issue always happens.
I'll post moode and mpd logs as soon I get my hands over it again.
- Do you need other logs/system's?
I remember also I noted this in system logs, is it normal/related to this issue?:
Thank you
