[SOLVED] HDMI Board mute on startup?

[challenge]

If you have a Pi-3B+ see if same happens. Maybe it's unique to Pi-4 HDMI implementation.

just for fun tried both Pi4 ports after a reboot. The second HDMI port it doesn't even output sound.
Only the first one works.

I think I only have a Pi 1 B+... does that count?  

There are a bunch of HDMI settings. Maybe some would influence the mute issue?
