Two of the nine tracks contain 4 'objects', the rest 2 as Tim remarked.
The different contents cause the file command to sees your tracks differently from the way it sees my test files.

What I'm seeing doesn't mean your files are incorrect from an MPEG4 container point of view, only that they are different in structure from what I'm familiar with. The metadata editor AtomicParsley, for example, has no problem reading and parsing all the 'atoms' in these files and as you've observed, the coverart is viewable in other tools.
I agree with Tim that attempting to convert these tracks is probably the most expedient thing to do next.
