That Hegel H590 looks like an interesting device ! Should be USB 2.0 compliant.
I would think that your Pi via USB and MoOde should connect and discover without any further configuration other than selecting the MoOde USB output in the audio tab.
Audio Config>MPD Options>MPD settings>EDIT and in the window that opens Output device>(your usb device)
