Yes, UPnP media servers can generate a ton of synthetic folders such as Artist and Genre which in turn create multiple paths to the same track files, but that doesn't seem to be the basic problem here, cf. post #5 and post #10.

I have done tests with moOde and several different UPnP media servers and can always find my way through the media server clutter to tracks I want to play. This whether I accept the highest level endpoint or drill down to the Folders endpoint in the Create Music Source screen. The choice of endpoint can definitely affect the amount of time it takes to update the MPD library, however.

I've never run into a "Transport endpoint is not connected" error. However, my Internet search engine turns up items such as https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2496...-connected

The only issue I notice with the UPnP Media Browser is that album/track artwork isn't showing up in the Library Tag and Album views although it does in the Playback view when I'm playing a track. Maybe this is just me not paying close enough attention to what I'm doing.

Fair enough Kent, I was in full hypothesis mode with not the time to test anything.  I might have a play again with mounting my MinimServer library into moOde just to learn more how it behaves.  Like you, I don't use this function in anger.
