Or to add some more details: the stuff mentioned on diyaudio is about "reducing electrical noise" caused by various parts on the computer, e.g. the wifi transmitter. However what these guys don't accept is that we are dealing with digital data and not analog data here, and as long as the signal level is above the noise level a 1 stays a 1 and a 0 stays a 0 and the sound is not changed at all.
But this is a useless fight against snake oil products and people who trust in the placebo effect and who "can hear" the difference if you transmit digital data over wifi vs. ethernet and even put -> marks on ethernet cables to indicate the direction the sound signal must flow to get the best quality. You can either jump on that boat and then prepare your wallet for some serious hits ("HiFi USB cable" for several hundred bucks is normal), or stick to physical laws and save money while not risking any quality loss.
