In the 'old' days camilladsp used the camilladsp-plot to also render the images in the web gui, but it was slow and delivered not the nicest image you could get.
Other parts of camilladsp-plot are still used.
"Can't teach an old dog new tricks" was one of my grandmother's frequent rejoinders. Now I'm as old as she was when she was telling me. Sigh.
