Hello again,
do we need to do an ?

Code:

apt-get update and upgrade

If yes, must it be done before or after the moode update ?
Is there any advice to not break whole installation ?

It is not recommended to do apt-get upgrade at any time.  The supported configuration is the one shipped, an upgrade would introduce variables in the setup that would prove difficult to support (did it break because of the upgrade, if so, which bit, etc.)
