update failed (zero 2w / 8.2.3 → 8.2.4)

Very odd. The update log shows installation of 8.2.4 moode-player package but startup log shows version is 8.2.3.

Your best bet is to go with a fresh 8.2.4 image.

I almost thought so too. But I won't do it until next year  . A faulty memory card is also conceivable . Can I check the file system for errors in the terminal ?
