Thanks, Tim, network indeed. Comparing the config with a Pi Zero W which updated OK, this one had Wireless > Address set to STATIC. Changed to DHCP, rebooted, and all working OK. I don't know when that got set that way, the IP has always been reserved on the DHCP server.
