…especially if you’ve installed previous moOde releases without any problem. 

Thanks to a change made by the Raspberry Pi Foundation (for good and sufficient reasons, by the way), you must create the default user account with a username/password before the first boot of a fresh moOde 8.3.2 install.. See the guide.
