As mentioned previously, you should direct your commentary for this at TIDAL themselves, as only they can choose to make the Connect feature available as free/open source.
Other than that, why not just use an excellent TIDAL-compatible Control Point app such as BubbleUPnP in the meantime? No, that's not TIDAL Connect, but so what?
Still better, dump TIDAL and switch to Qobuz… oops, no Qobuz Connect either. Still worth switching that one in my opinion, at least until such time as TIDAL have fully exorcised the ghost of MQA.
