DSD audio coding is not recognized by my DAC which always processes it as PCM

Hi All,
I'm using an SMSL D300 dac connected to a Raspberry 4 via USB on which the latest version of Moode (8.3.6) is installed.


When I turn on the Dac and the Raspberry, the DAC display shows “DSD” but as soon as I play any song from Moode, the DAC display indicates PCM encoding.

In the MPD configuration the encoding is "DSD Native" and I have not changed any other parameters.
Do you have any advice for configuring Moode so that the DAC recognizes DSD encoding?
