Spot on . Just received the usb powered hub . Still the sticks wouldn't mount to /media . Then checked the forum again , saw your reply , switched to DevMon .
Finally . Sda & sdb mount on to /Media and appear on the browser . And all this with just the new hub body and not the supply . Meaning that the pi can supply enough current to drive two sticks and usb dac .
