Have you disabled the Pi Audio in config.txt ?

I am not using the DigiAmp, but for the DAC+ I had to disable the Pi headphone.

Which overlay are you using ?

Config.txt is a managed file. the dtoverlay and other settings are determined by what is set in the Config Screens.

If you have to manually edit config.txt audio settings there is some breakage.
