I haven't completely cleared the SD card that I was originally using for playback - it's a 256gb card that still has 100gb of music files on it, as well as the moOde OS.
The only next step I can think of is to do a fresh install of moOde on a new, faster SD card and make sure that all my music library runs off a USB stick only. That means a trip to Amazon and a few days' wait...
If you still had music on the SD card, that would get indexed as well.
You should move ALL the music to the USB stick, and do a library rebuild; and a thumbnail regeneration (as the folder hash - on which the thumbnail names are based - would be different).
Then I would do also a reboot.
