[SOLVED] Audio glitching on Pi 5

I notice you have the PCie speed turned off in /boot/firmware/config.txt. I.E. They have a hash [#] in front of them to comment them out so they don't get read by the system.

So cant you do the following please? You can reverse the procedure back to revert if you want.

execute the command from the terminal:

1. sudo raspi-config

2. Use the cursor keys to go down to: "6 Advanced Options Configure advanced settings"

3. Press carriage return to enter "6 Advanced Options Configure advanced settings"

4. Use the cursor keys to go down to "A8 PCIe Speed Set PCIe x1 port speed"

5. Press carriage return to enter "A8 PCIe Speed Set PCIe x1 port speed"

6. You will see "Would you like PCIe Gen 3 to be enabled? " with a yes and a no at the bottom.

7. The "yes" should be highlighted. If it is press Press carriage return to activate. If it is not highlighted use the cursor keys to move to it and highlight it.

8. Once you have done that it will say "PCIe Gen 3 is enabled " and give you an OK button,

9. Just press carriage return again to exit that page

10. Then use the tab key to move to the "finish" button and press carriage return.

11. Then do a "cat /boot/firmware/config.txt to see if the hash [#] has disappeared from the "dtparam=pciex1_gen=3" line,
