Yes, they are baffleless, once I get them up and running they should provide more pinpoint imaging; although, I would like to experiment with wide baffles in the future.
Actually chose this design because there would be less bass so as not to disturb the neighbors (apartment living). Wider baffles make more bass. No cabinet on the woofer can reproduce the upright bass very naturally so Ron Carter sounds just right.
