Oops. I am mistaken. (The older I get the more frequently this happens.)

In the testing I reported above, the "USB DAC" was actually a Creative BT-W2 adapter which is a USB-to-Bluetooth device. The apparent muting I was experiencing was the result of the device disconnecting from my Sennheiser Bluetooth headphones. Power-cycling the headphones re-establishes the connection since the adapter remembers their pairing and I can now listen to either conventional moOde sources or to the SiriusXM radio channels I added. Not sure what, specifically, caused the disconnection.

To double-check, I've installed a fresh copy of moOde 9.0.8 to an RPi 4B equipped with an Inno-Maker DAC Pro HAT (this DAC uses the Allo Katana driver). This time I'm using wired headphones. This combo worked before I installed sxm-player, and continued to work after I installed and enabled it as a service.

So, on the one hand I can say the sxm-player should work in your setup and, on the other hand, I can't say why it isn't.

Regards,
Kent
Wow, I'm losing my mind. Just imaged another SD Card with 9.0.8, installed the sxm-player and it works!
Rebooted, it works.
Shutdown, cold boot, it works.

I must have did this 5 or 6 times last week and was getting no audio.

Thanks for your help!
