Thank you @popeye65 that really helped. The only thing I changed was "vi" to "nano" for the editor and I was able to edit the files in the terminal on a Mac. Now I am trying to install PeppyMeter for the ultimate viewing experience :-) but having some troubles getting the needle to move.
