Best to leave debug logging off unless explicitly requested. It makes the logs hard to read.
In any case I don't see anything suspicious in the logs. I have Ext4 NVMe drives Fat32 and Ext4 USB drives and no issues. It's a mystery to me what might be causing the audio glitches.
Maybe try a different USB cable to the drive?
