Problem: General sluggishness on an Pi 5

I am experiencing real sluggishness when doing things like navigating back from making a config change to the album view it takes a while (>30s) to load the album art (Library is Loadibg) - I sort my view using the 1 month recently added albums. Sometimes when navigating the UI it is sluggish, other times it is respnsive. I have done at least 5 new installs using 3 different SD cards, in the last week alone. Eventually, I will lose access to the RP despite music still playing with the only way to be tp power off either by pulling cable or pressing power switch.

Setup
RP5, 4GB, 1TB NVMe (Fanxiang) using Geekwork X1002 NVMe SSD adaptor and Official Raspberry PI 5 PSU and RPI audia DAC (using Audiphonics ESS9038 as a named device)

I also noticed that today, after I turned on the low power in standby mode, i can not longer find this as option to this back off (Weird)

I have disconneced NVMe as my drive is one that can be  problematic if bootting of it, but since this is not an option in MoodeAudio I didn't thiunk it mattered, but disconnected to be sure. Problem still exists

I have also Regenerate Music Database,  Regenerate Album cover thumbanil, Cleared Caches etc Nothing helps. Thumbnail Generator status tell me 1873 folders have been scanned with 1869 thumbs created

Also, I should mention sluggishness persists when using other audio renderered 9Squeezelite, Plexamp) albeit without the 'Library is Loading' delays.

Any ideas?

Thansks in advance

I happened to logged in via ssh when this happened
Code:
damien@Moode-RP5:~ $ qclient_loop: send disconnect: Connection reset

C:\Users\dawog>ssh damien@192.168.1.197
ssh_dispatch_run_fatal: Connection to 192.168.1.197 port 22: Connection timed out

the Web ui is now very sluggish. Managed to ssh back in but cli unresponsive or super slow, unsure of which. This only happening on RP5, fine on RP4 and RP3, all same versions, with the notable difference being no NVMe on Rp3 and RP4.

Would it help  if I set 'workers resonse' to Boosted in Systems? Say's experimental so not sure
