If the files are elsewhere on some nas, it might be better to install the media server there. If you prefer to not change anything on the upmpdcli configuration which is managed by moode, you can also use docker to do that with upmpdcli, see here for an example configuration.
Thanks, that would be a workaround. It was never a goal before because we all have here a media server already running on our AVM DSL Routers (upnp only, no http) with integrated NAS capability.
