If the native orientation of the screen is portrait then try removing the config.txt and cmdline.txt settings and then set it to Touch 2 in Peripheral Config.

Thanks Tim, Steve set me on the right path. I have the screen properly orientated now, just need to make the final edits to get the touch calibrated correctly and I will be good to go! Thanks to you and everyone else at moode for this fine piece of work!
