[SOLVED] Airplay crashes frequently since moOde 9.x

To add another data point. I don't use airplay, but when I upgraded a Pi Zero to a Pi 3A+ I had difficulty with wi-fi too. The culprit turned out to be my router that would periodically "check" that all the connected devices were on the best band (2.4 or 5). This check would cause the Pi 3 to become "catatonic", i.e. it was connected but not responding. I could stop this by either using moOde 8 and it's older OS, or turning off the band checking feature on the router. I've since replaced the router.

In short, I believe that the wifi chip in the 3 series is a little sensitive to disruption when running bookworm based OS.
